Tire Foam dripped on Wheels. FML

So I used a spray foam whatever after I washed my car, on my tires.
May have forgotten to wipe up the excess foam so it dripped down onto my tires. 162 style wheels.

Now there are a few grime looking lines on my wheels. I wash my wheels regularly and pay close attention to the wheel cleaning, with brushes and cleaners.

How do I go about removing this grime/stain from my wheels.? I've scrubbed at this for a few times, but no use.

What product do you recommend? Am I doomed?

Which tire foam did you use? What did you use when you scrubbed them?

Believe it was Mequiars Hot Shine Tire Foam. Not sure if I'm a fan of it anymore. Do all tire shiners do this?

To try and remove it, I used. A wheel brush, and Mothers All wheel cleaner.

Perhaps a properly diluted all purpose cleaner? I know you can get a gallon of Meguiars APC+ for fairly cheap.

Hrm, waiting to see pictures (posting so I don't forget to check back), but I use the Hot Shine spray (not foam) and haven't seen any damage to my wheels from overspray. I hope it's not permanent damage!

Yeah, I used to use some similar products back in the day and it would leave marks on wheels but a decent wash would get it off. Hoping we can come up with a good solution for him.

I used Mothers Foam All Wheel Cleaner. Still shows the grime/stains.

This should do the trick. Maybe even hit it with a claybar.

yea that looks bad.

If that's brake dust stuck to the residue, and if all else has failed, shouldn't some brake parts cleaner remove it?

ASK someone on here, in the know, if brake cleaner will damage the wheel finish first. Avoid the car paint.

Do NOT put brake cleaner on your wheels unless you want to strip them to bare metal.

Looks like a clay bar and lots of elbow grease will get that off.

clay those wheels young grass hoppa and get a tire shine applicator so you dont over do it next time.

Damn I love 162 wheels. man i miss my 335 (going off topic lol)
