JB4 Queries
Hi Guys,
I am loving my JB4 tune since i installed it, but i fear it isn't up to date... There is an option to do a "Gauge Sweep" upon start up like subarus etc... But everytime i activate this, it doesnt work... Does anyone else have this problem? Best, Josh |

yep i just bought my jb4 and managed to toggle on most features like max cool etc except gauge sweep which for some reason isnt coming on.will have to check why...

Guys,
Make sure you have downloaded the latest Interface Software and have uploaded the latest Firmware. 2 Steps. The latest for both is 9/16 Check N54 Tuning for the updates. http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10605

Thanks chiming in Mike,
I just downloaded the latest patch. I havent ever done an update, and never installed the software on my laptop. Is the update as well as the soft ware for my laptop included in the link? best, josh |

This link will help you understand how to load the software set your COM port and update the firmware via the HEX file provided in the link above. It references the JB3 but the steps are the same.

I updated mine firmware, software, and hex all features worked Except gauge sweep
Started my car 10 times no gauge sweep did this at night so I gave up decided to try again in the morning Started car in the morning to take kids to school and there it was gauge sweep.... Not a big deal but I think it's cool Now only if the fog lights would come on at start up
