Gift idea for Parents?

Hey guys, as you know it's that time of year and I'm not a creative person at all when it comes to gift ideas.

I was just wondering if anyone had any gift ideas for parents? I normally don't buy them gifts seeing as how I haven't had a steady job in the past, but now that I've been working for awhile I feel I want to buy them something this year. Just no idea on what to get them haha. Any advice appreciated! thanks!

We should make a general Christmas gift idea thread... Give us a price range bro. I'm getting my parents a nice Yamaha sound bar since their tv sound sucks and they dont like speakers.

My Dad is huge into guitars, and was a giant Grateful Dead fan when I was growing up, and still is. This was his Christmas present this year:

I like to get him stuff he would never think about, but I'd know he will love. It's not about money, it's about if they will like it.

I got my mom this:

She is obsessed with these sculptures but are out of her idea of a price range to buy any for herself. That one is her favorite.

Sorry, forgot to mention I split some of the cost with my brothers... but yea, if there wasn't some meaning behind them, which is kind of a long story, I wouldn't have even considered it...

Hmm joint present... both my parents enjoy cooking... how about yours? I can never go wrong with some nice food prep stuff...

I usually give them cashmere sweaters since they can't justify spending $$ for their cloth.
This year I'm thinking of a nice foot massager from brookstone.

I usually send a gift certificate or package from livlob.com. Complete lobster dinner delivered to their door.

My mom uses Netflix a lot so I picked her up an apple TV. Very simple to use and she can rent movies and such through apple.
