Trunk LED is flickering, is it dead?

I bought it from a vendor here on this site but I wont disclose who it is until I can get this issue fixed.

Worked great for over a year but now it flickers all the time.

Dead?

It could be dying, but before we assume that, just take the out, clean the connectors, and reinsert. It may have been knocked loose in a bump or something.

Tell me how it goes!

LEDs normally just burn out when they die. Is it a constant flickering? Or only when there is movement?

In a car, there are tons of vibrations and this can weaken solder joints over time. I would be one of the solder joints is loose.
