Anybody ever swapped a tranny on a 335i for the seven speed tranny on the 335is?

The only time I could see a reason for changing the transmission for another one is if you have an automatic that broke and can't handle the power and you swap in a manual.

You would be better off trading in your car for a DCT equipped one with the cost of the unit and labor.

I'd rather swap for a 6-speed manual than to put in another AT. If I would have known what I do now, I would have told my wife to "shut it, I'm getting a manny."

My first e92 335i was a manual. Now I have automatic, changed my wheel for an M wheel with dct paddles. Just thought down the road, if the tranny ever goes bad it might be fun to put the 7-speed tranny from the 335is.

my car is 335i not 335i
and it comes with 7 speed tranny
i liked it more than the 6 speed AT(my friends 08 335i)
the launch control is very stupid thing in that car
it launches at 5000 RPM and only 1 traction control is off
the car get alot of wheel spin the the traction holds the car then it will take boost again
i didn't like the launch control its stupid and you can check videos in youtube
