Fitting front m3 strut/shock onto 335i?
I've recently come across an opportunity for a set of coilovers off an e9x m3. I know how the rear fits with the change in lower camber links.
However, for the front coilovers, what does it take to have that fit on the 335i? From what I've gathered, it seems that camber plates from an m3 will not fit a 335i and will need a different camber plate. Otherwise is that it? Would everything else from a 335i transfer over onto the front coilover assembly? I initially thought it would and just wanted to confirm |

the bottom of the front strut seats into the steering knuckle, so if the M3's is a different size, the coilover won't fit. I guess you could also swap over the M3 knuckles/brakes/hub assemblies, but that would probably cost a lot more than just getting a set of coilovers that fit in the first place.
