BMS DCI Clean
So I decided to clean out my DCI with k&n cleaner kit.
I washed it just as described. However I think I may have gone kind of crazy with the oil part. I don't think I applied too much oil. However now, I find that my car is revving higher then usual. When I am on 2nd gear and hitting 40km my rpm's are at 2500 3rd hitting 60km again around 2500rpm. I think before I would be around 2000rpm. I think this is normal with the stock intake but not with the bms intake. Should I rewash the intakes and apply less oil? Has anyone experienced this? Thanks for your help. oh yeah, I have a 335i and jb3 map 5 |

A little off topic, but how much oil is supposed to be applied to this BMS DCI? I tried looking on the S&B website, but couldn't figure out where they say how much oil to put on... and supposedly you're only supposed to oil the dirty side?? Every video i've seen, they oil the entire filter... what do you guys do?
