1. will any ipod work? friend is selling 80gb classic
2. does the connector charge the ipod while connected?
3. no iDrive, so does the stock radio control the ipod menu, and how easily?
4. how easy is it to find the songs you want to play?
5. sound quality?
6. any issues, problems, inconvenience to using the adaptor?

thanks, found an Official 6FL thread, but didn't help much because of all the back and forth conflicting posts.

I don't know for sure if I even have a 6FL because I read that came out about the same time as my car was built, Feb 07 so I don't know how to tell if I have 6 or 4FL. if someone can just answer my questions that would be helpful. I just didn't want to buy something that didn't work as I'd hoped.
