Wheel Lock - Dealer Repaired, new issue?

First I want to say that I'm pretty new here, recently purchased a 2006 325i... This forum has been a wealth of information and I'm really looking forward to becoming part of the community. This is my first BMW and after this... I can say it's going to be difficult to go back. That being said... last week I had a error come up on the dash for the wheel lock... took it to the dealer after reading about it on the forum. They had it for a day and replaced the the column. However now I am noticing that 'almost' every time I start the engine the steering wheel has a jolt of sorts. I figure this is the solenoid engaging but is this normal after every start? Before the column being replaced, this never happened... Any ideas?
