1LUMI lll E90 LCI 335i M-tech lll FBO Catless Exhaust Video

Traded cars with my cousin for the day, I was driving around in his E55 AMG and took some video of my exhaust setup. Just having some fun, got some video of my CP-E catless DP's with full catless and no resonator with stock mufflers in place w/ 4"dimisa tips.

In the first pull you can hear a nice backfire and popping into second gear

Sounds nice but there is a slight rasp at higher rpms. Resonator would clean that up nicely

Imo, put some vibrant resonators in place of thr secondary cats.
Wont affect sound much, just take off a bit of the rasp.

So whos faster b/w you two?

Don't get me wrong the little bit of rasp is almost none existent but to people like myself it's needs to be totally clean. Other than that it sounds great

I was thinking about it... At this point the mix of lil rasp and the exhaust note im almost use to it to the point i like it alot! lol if that makes sense.

I havent raced him in my spec as i am now, but a friend of mine with no oil cooler and 19 inch rims, on race gas FBO raced him and was tied until 130-140 where the E55 puled a car on him and they shut down at 15X.
The E55 has no resonators, no secondary cats and meisterschaft muffles. And a upgraded IC pump with drop in K&N. No tune or pulley.

As of right now im in love with the sound.. In person it sounds so perfect to me, the pops and burnles and all lol.. In video does sound a bit more raspy up top then it is.

Thanks alot man... Honestly, there is NO drone.. I heard of people with muffler delete cant stand the drone etc. but i woulkd say there is a touch of drone at a specific rpm and speed with my setup, nothing like muffler delete and these aftermarket exhausts. 95% of the time is stock like and barely any drone at all. That is why i just with the stock mufflers.

Could be that ur boy has no sports package and the speed limit he has shoukd be like 135 with no sprt pkg, tell him to get the speed delimiter n go at it again. Lol

I dunno, it's louder but the exhaust note isn't really my taste... I'd get rid of the rasp... but the AMG sounds sickkk... wish we could make our cars sound like THAT!! Just listen at 0:16!

Yea he has no sports package.. I raced a 335i when i was stock in 07 when i had my coupe, i had a oil cooler and my friends 335i coupe did have a oil cooler, both AT and i would beat him in back to back runs always! oil cooler helps performance!

Yea, the rasp i love with the deep tone in person!Guess its a person to person variance, but this car at WOT in person is just amazing! Along with it having no drone i couldnt be happer.
