What I-drive controller fits in the pre-lci ?
iam trying to upgrade the idrive controller on my prelci car to the new idriver controller .... what s the product number?

I did this mod on my 2007 E92. The Controller needs to be from a 2009 or newer model. Parts were plug-n-Play!
Controller: http://www.trademotion.com/parts/201...ent=Controller Trim: http://www.trademotion.com/parts/201...t=Trim%20panel There's also a Plastic Bracket needed to hold the Controller onto the Trim piece. It doesn't come with the Controller so you need to order it separately. It's only a few bucks, but it's necessary! I got the Aluminum Trim and covered it with CF Vinyl. Works great a nd looks super!

Do the new Idrive controls work ( all the buttons switch between the radio, nav ect...) or just an apperance mod. If so I may want to do this mod as well.
