Yeah people can bitch about gas prices all they want, but the myriad decent choices in the gas sipper category these days is much better.

Econoboxes of today are infinitely better all around than they were just a few years ago. There are still some penalty boxes on wheels, but pretty much every manufacturer has a good option for cheap.

That's a great car, I had one as a rental car once and loved it. It probably is at the top of the current small economical vehicle choices...

As far as my gas woes, I have a 1.8L civic that gets close to 40 on the hwy as a second car...

I'll give you something to laugh about... I drove a brand new F30 335i two days and the check restraint system / airbag system came on after only 9 miles on the odometer. I laughed all the way home...
