BMW E91 Halogen to Xenon AHL

Hi all,

I am about to make a deal on a set of Bi-Xenon AHL headlights for my halogen to xenon conversion DIY.

I have a E91 2007 with halogen and the standard FRM module.

Can someone please help me to answer the following doubt:

- My car does not have the AHL pre-wiring, so the AHL option for me is out. Will the xenon lights still work after coding in the VO522 and coding out the leveling errors (thanks to the coding section)?

In short if I don't add the VO for the AHL (VO52..) but only the VO522 for xenon and follow the install DIY on this forum will I be able to utilize the headlights as normal bi-xenon? Will the car through an error for AHL as it's not working?

Thanks for any help
