It's really simple on our cars because the fuse box is behind the glove compartment. I'll take a picture for you if you like of my set up. I'm at work right now, so it'll have to be later.

Forget the fusebox. Tap it into the overhead panel. Simple as tapping 1 wire then using a stock bolt to ground. Takes less than 5 min to install. Search on the forum for the DIY

cleaner also. no need to run a cord down the pillar from the fuse box.
