Got into a minor hit

Some chick hit my car, but luckily we're okay, and my car isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Basically, there's a little scrape on the rear bumper and a scrape on my rear diffuser. What should I do in this case? I have her insurance and ID (picture taken), I was thinking of filing a claim with her insurance, but would it affect the history of my car? I don't want anything bad to be on my car's record just from a little hit like that and the hit isn't as bad to the point where I would need a whole rear bumper replacement, maybe paint touchup and a new diffuser. It'd be nice to get a new Arkym rear diffuser from her insurance though...

Did you talk to her? Depending on what her deductible is and if she has another prior incident on her record, it's probably cheaper for her to just pay out of pocket. In which case she can just give you cash and you can get whatever or have whatever you want done.

Get estimate take the estimate to her insurance company have them give you a check. Fix it your self by buying a carbon fiber diffuser.

based on the pic and description, i think shop estimate would likely to be less than $300, just touch up and buff off.
get a shop estimate and tell her to pay you in cash.
get the money, buy touch up paint and new diffuser and clean record.

btw is she hot?

Yeah if its under $300 dont even report anything to anyone. Ask her to pay whatever she can and in whatever way she can and move on unless she is a granny.

I really don't know how much it'll cost, but I think it may need touch-up and a new diffuser. I just went ahead and called her insurance company, she's like 18 so I don't think she really would give me $300 so insurance is my best bet. After I got off the phone with the insurance agent, they called me back saying she admitted fault to all of it so they just told me to find a shop and get an estimate, then e-mail them the estimate. Does anyone know any good shops I can go to? I don't know if the rear diffuser is fixable is it? It's not like they're suppose to be painted or anything, so I'm guessing I would have to get a new one. There's some minor painting that needs to be done as well on the bumper. And yeah, she was hot lol

Since she's hot. Just get her info and tell her she can forget the rear ending if you can return the favor and rear end her, in the ass.

Take it to Haury's and they'll give you a really high quote. Say you want a new bumper and diffuser. Send the quote to them, get a check for $4-5K, and laugh to the bank.

Thanks for the idea, I'll give Haury's a try! Hopefully, their high repair cost doesn't affect my car history though.
