I'm just getting more confused trying to read and figure this out. I have JB4 and I'm about to install DP's.

1. I got my JB4 a while back. How do I know if I have stage 3? And if I don't how do I go about upgrading?

2. I was looking at the DP fix. But then I was reading about the CAN tool. Should I just get that instead? And how does the can tool work? I read that you don't use a laptop.

The JB4 is the stage 3 tune. You should look on N54tech.com and it has a sticky of exactly what the JB4 does and can do. But back to your question NO you do not need the DP fix and it can be eliminated by the steering wheel controls with the JB4. and also you might want to update your firmware since there has been alot of updates that enables alot of new cool features and thats ALL in the same place on n54tech.com.

Thanks. I was thinking that the JB4 was already stage 3. But one more question so I don't have to go through the extreme hastle of navigating to another webpage....

So what do I need to do the firmware updates? Just data logging cable?
