M3-style bumper fitment

The M3-Style bumper I bought from **********s.com needs "slight trimming or removal of the brake and oil cooler ducts".

I removed the 2 ducts. We realised what the ducts do is redirect the air from the middle of the bumper grills to the tires.

Will it cause any problems for the car's safety or performance if we delete those ducts?

Btw fitment is fine.
Thank you **********s.com
