Nail on runflats - Pics
Luckily I discovered the nail very early and it was in the center of the tread. This is on the rear tire on the driver's side. Tire is Bridgestone Potenza RE 050A I, 255/35/18 RFT run flat tires.
The tire shop fixed it with a plug. I have about 6k miles on these tires. Just wanted to share the pic if for any new members/readers. |

RFT can be patched with the same rules as normal tires as long as you do not drive on them with low/0 pressure. I am not sure if there is such a threshold for the lowest pressure you can drive on without damaging the sidewall.

Really don't see the point in runflats. The handling and ride isn't as good. And your even more afraid of getting a flat tire since you'll ruin the tire if you drive on it with little to no psi.
