LCI help
Im looking to upgrade to the euro lci lights for my e92. Here's my plan:
Im getting the outers from ecs tuning, and the harness and inners from tischer. In the end this saves me about $100 over EAS's package. What I want to know is the coding part. 1. Do I only need to order the harness once? Are their 2 included for each light? 2. Can any BMW dealership code the car afterwards, or are they going to give me a hard time?

PM onebadmofo for coding. He's in queens as well.
Perfectly safe and dealer won't give you any issues. The absolute worst that can happen is they re-code the FRM (light module) and you'll have to re-code the module to eliminate errors again. Of course nothing permanent. Can't help on the harness, but have a feeling it's been covered in the multi-page EAS (?) LCI retrofit thread. GL |

There should be a harness for each light. Once installed, your lights will work but they will flash on startup and hyper blink when signaling. You will also get errors on startup.

I just got the US Lci tail lights installed/coded yesterday and I love how they look on my E92. The whole assembly had two wiring harnesses In one package from BMW dealer, but it's best you call the dealer to verify in your case. Lci tail lights are definitely worth the money!
