I like the thigh-support blocker idea, easy enough.
I wanna do some thorough E85 blend testing so the laptop will be in the car for quite some time... not just a couple simple WOT blasts... I wouldn't be actively monitoring it while driving, but would be nice to see it at a glance while stopped instead of craning into the passenger seat but I guess it's not that big of a deal. |

We use them at work while logging data on caravans and it is also utilized by law enforcement here. These beefed up units take a serious beating; I've accidentally dropped it, banged it against other objects and used it in -35F weather with no hiccups. You can grab a refurbished unit for a few hundred dollars. A good investment if you log tons of data IMO. |
