I'd go gloss black for the grills or have the chrome colour coded.

Gloss black for sure.
I ended up plasti-dipping mine because its sort of an inbetween of black and my sparkling graphite metallic paint. anything but chrome brother. It makes a world of a difference in person. |

^^ Huh?
But yes, grilles definitely. Gloss or matte, either looks good on LMB Nice wheels, BTW

Definitely, its one of those subtle mods that non-BMW owners can't really put their finger on but realise that the car looks cool as hell
Its the one thing I will do to every BMW I ever own I reckon - I went with the OEM Performance ones but I reckon they could look every bit as good if you know your way around a can of spray paint.

I got mine from Stratstone BMW's eBay shop, since they were the cheapest bone fide place I could find
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/stratstonebmwonlineshop Bear in mind though for pre-LCI you have to buy the two extra eyebrows that attach to the bonnet...

As above, I got mine from Stratstone Hull BMW on eBay, they were £64.95, free p&p. Like you I wasn't sure about them and still wasn't after I'd fitted them. I called at B&Q the day after and parked miles from the doors, had a smile on my face walking all the way back looking at it. You won't regret it.
