Ebay LED light recomendations

So I'm looking to install LED's but the price is all over the place. I mean a buck and change shipped for license plates for example. My thinking is that by now LED lights are so common that even the cheap one's will not throw error codes. (well always an exception)

Anyone have any experience or recommendations??? Anything to look for to know they will work or not?

E BAT is a crap shoot. High Performance Bulb is the way to go.
