I believe you would need the chargepipe and the flange. However, I'm not 100% that they are even compatable that way.

As Zebra99 mentioned, you're going to need a Charge pipe because the factory BMW CP has two flanges. Additionally you'll need a flange adapter to be able to mount the BOV.

Here is a link to a ER CP, the HKS flange is $25 extra. With these 2 pieces you can make it work.

EDIT: HKS flange is a "Diverter Valve Option"

Will the charge pipe void my warranty??

I've always taken the "if there's any doubt, don't bring it into the dealer like that" position. That being said, a charge pipe and/or BOV don't improve performance, and don't really change engine function *much*, so the liklihood of getting crap for it is not very high.

Again though, if you value your warranty, I wouldn't risk it. It would only be an issue if you brought your car in for an issue thats covered by warranty. If you bring in your ride for an oil change, the worst you can expect is just for the dealer to note it's on the car.

Do you take your car into Seattle or Bellevue BMW?

To Bellevue BMW they were ok with having an air intake in my 328

I've heard better things about Seattle, both about service as well as mod support. Again though, you probably wouldn't hear anything until you attempted to have something replaced under warranty. They're happy to take your money on the standard stuff, but try their best not to cover things if they feel they don't have to.
