Michelin Pilot Super Sports (PSS)

I went from spinning from a 2nd gear punch on Yokohama S-drives, to a dead hook in 1st gear with the PSS.

Michelins PS2 or PSS. They are stupid sticky. Not fantastic in the wet, mind, so if you get a lot of rain - go for Goodyear Eagle F1s. They also won't tramline as much as good year due to pattern. Continental Contact Sport 2 or whatever it is, not 3, the 2 are good alternative and tramline least from all tyres I've had.

Heard good thinkgs on Vredesteins but they never come out on TOP of the tyre tests - Michelins and Contis on the other hand seem to be 1-3 very often.

These would be the top choices for best dry grip and handling.

Agreed. If you're looking to spend a bit less, Yokohama S-drives and Hankook Ventus V12's are good choices as well.

No, not because of the weight, but you will notice a difference in handling and steering response because if moving to the PSS because it has superior grip and handling compared to the Sumitomo HTRZ3.
