BBS CH fitment

I am considering the BBS 18 inch wheel with 8.5 inch front and 10 inch rear. Is there any reason why I can not use a 255/35 18 rear tire with this wheel. I have a 330 XI and by running a 225/40 18 front and a 255/35 18 rear, this would give me the exact same set up as the factory sport package wheel that can be used with an XI.

Tire rack shows the recommended rear tire size as 245/35 18. Is there a reason why I can not use a 255/35 18 and will I have any problems with the 10 inch rear wheel?

I agree. Not sure why the site says 245...

Don't you want 265 or something larger with a 10" wheel in the rear? I have 265/30/19 on a 19x9.5 rear wheel.
