well there's a place called dinosaur bbq right on the hudson river in Troy - i know people travel to go there. pretty legendary stuff. they have an awesome deck right on the river and a nice bar. i'd call ahead though.

or in albany i'd suggest 677 Prime for probably the best steak you'll have for a while. no view though, but def worth it. kind of expensive - no tee shirt kind of place.

if you're traveling with someone, Dino is def worth it. Downtown Troy is cool to walk around a bunch of cool bars in old buildings.

btw Troy is just a 5 minute drive from Albany on the other side of the river if you didn't know

not sure how far you're willing to go, but there's a vintage BMW show in Saratoga Springs on Saturday

You said Hudson NY? thats Columbia County. Its actually funny that i ran into this thread im going to my lake house Tonight in Craryville NY (Copake Lake) which is 15-20min from Hudson thats where we get all of our food and stuff since thats the only place to get anything around ( Wal-Mart Rocks!!). And tommorow i will be in Clifton Park (Saratoga County) which is 20 min from troy area, which is 40 min from Hudson NY.

Food in Hudson theres an applebees and a pretty decent diner nothing crazy though. If you want awesome pizza prob the best i ever had really. Joe Joes in Ancram NY right off the Taconic.
