All-season tire recommendation since DWS are backordered/discontinued
I got a major flat this morning that tore the sidewall and did some damage to my wheel, so the tire is beyond repair. Unfortunately, I cannot find a DWS 235/35/19 anywhere and Discount Tire mentioned that Continental may not be making them anymore. That being said, I need to find a replacement, but it looks like I will have to replace all 4 since I have x-drive (I believe you have to use the same tire on all four wheels, right?). I currently have 19" BBS RGR wheels. I've read that the General Tire G-Max AS-03 would be a decent option. Any others that won't break the bank? Or can I use a different size of DWS that may be available that will fit my wheels?
Or could I buy one DWS in a similar size, like the 245/35/19, and use it in its place? I'm at a loss right now and frustrated as I have a feeling this is going to end up costing way more than I'd like to spend right now. |

AS-03's are decent tire. Good bang for the buck in terms of all-seasons. Won't last as long as the DWS given the tread wear rating, but it's a good bang for the buck. Depending on how many miles you've put on your current set, you can maybe pick up a single DWS and call it a day. You might be able to find a single piece that's used to match your current wear. DWS's are on back order right now.

Try https://www.tiresavings.com/ call them up and ask if they have them in stock.
I got my dws' in the beginning of the year. Every tire place was sold out of the 235/35/19. Wound up getting my fronts at tire savings. They were more expensive, but these were the tires I wanted. I got my rears from tire rack since they did have those. Good luck!

I love my Mich. Pilot A/S Plus. They have been around for a long time. Had DWS on another vehicle. Loved them but they are a bit soft around the corners.

I would also consider hankook if you are on a budget. I think the ventus v4 es are all season. I usually use summer maximum performance tires as it never gets cold here, but the v4s were a good tire with long tread wear. Downside? Soft into the corners like all hankooks and got loud after 25000km. But all upsides other than those issues. Still went with another set of hankooks after those.
