I replaced my crap RFTs and went with the V12s. No issues and a much better ride overall IMO. Some will argue that though... and that's fine.
I have found that on cold mornings or after the car has sat for a few days w/o being driven, I get a slight vibration for about 3-4 miles and it goes away. I did a lot of research on these before purchase and there were several people that noted they "flat spot" easily. This seems to be accurate, but it goes away quickly. I agree with the other posts, it's something other than your tires if it was going on before the swap and is at different speeds/times. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Yeah, those "flat spots" sound like exactly what I'm experiencing after the car sits. I'll keep you guys posted with the wobble. Thanks!

This thread doesn't seem like a great advertisement for Hankook V12, so far. I'd be blaming the tires at this point. Good luck anyway.

That's the cold spot in the Hankooks. They have to warm up and the wobble will go away. That was one of the only things I didn't like about them.

That definitely seems to be what I'm experiencing. This morning I went out and it was awful but on the way home it was relatively smooth. There was still a slight wobble but it was mostly only prevalent around turns. That could be due to the "feathering" the dealer mentioned. Oh and it's also pulling right. I think I'll take it in for another balancing and alignment, but not to the dealer this time.

UPDATE

Ok so I took it to my local shop ( OK4WD ) and had them due an alignment and they found one tire out of balance. The ride is smooth and buttery again ! Looks like I'll be staying away from the dealer, at least for tire issues...

Anyhow, wheel weights can possibly fall off over time especially if the area wasn't cleaned very well when installing the weights. Good chance that a couple of your wheel weights fell off within those 4 months but you said the dealer re-balanced them when you brought your car in again?

edit: just saw update. Yeah, figured. Unless something was wrong with your actual suspension, it wouldn't just pop up over night.

Right, and the dealer balanced them 3 weeks ago. When I pulled out of their lot I almost turned around to go back, because their balancing job didn't do a thing ( in fact it felt MUCH worse ), but they were already closing as I left.

Right now I'm gambling. I keep meaning to get a portable air compressor, but I always forget. Maybe I'll snag one tonight before my luck runs out.
