Vinyl top removal

Hey guys,

I need to take my car to pacific bmw for a buy back, i have a vinyl top, do i need to remove it? They said the car has to be stock, but do u think they will overlook this? Also whats the best method of taking it off, im sure there will be some yellowish resado from the glue

Heat gun and working slow you should be able to get it off with no residue.

you are better off taking it off, it's not hard. use a heat gun or it's still pretty hot out so it should just peel off just do it slowly.
