excessive blow by oil?

i installed a catch can last week and after driving 300~ miles last night i decided to check if it had collected any oil. to my surprise it collected a lot of oil! ive noticed some people that complaint that their catch can didn't collect any oil, my concern is it collected too much oil in that short amount of time. i am happy to know that the catch can works and i now wonder if there's something wrong with the car?

Unless you have it hooked up wrong, I cant imagine you not being able to collecting CCV. I chalk it up to stupidity. Thats only a small amount of oil, no cause for concern!
