best paint or body shop in vancouver for bmw
Hello all,
I own a space grey e92, and I think thnking of getting some body kits painted and install. Anyone know where in Vancouver that can does a great job duplicating BMW paint job (space grey in particular)? I understand taht BMW has a multi step painting process, if I have a body shop paint the kit, how close will it match the factory paint job? |

Korva Collision or Vieta Imports.
Both are on West 2nd Ave (in between Cambie Street & Main Street)- both are also the only two in Vancouver that are high end cars ONLY. Your 3er will be among some very very very expensive company while it's there ![]() I've been to Korva several times; once for repair work, and once for my M-Technik kit. Both times were perfect matches and impeccable workmanship. Contact Vic Gentille (General Manager); and tell him Paul with the M-kit recommended them to you. Good luck ![]()

+1 on Korva. I had repair work done there as well. They did a good job.
Most Ferrari people get their paint work done at Korva. Some even ship their cars from out of province just to have work done at Korva. Compared to the other cars they have in their shop...an E90 would be a cheaper car. They really tend to specialize in higher price imports. Burrard Autostrauss is also recommended by some, but they apparently are not as consistent. Definately do no go to No. 1 Collision as recommended by some of the dealers...they suck! |

I've had several friends take their cars to No. 1...ALWAYS a paint problem...drips, runs in the paint...disgusting job work. They used to have a good reputation...but definately not anymore.
I've heard of rumours of one guy who is the master painter in the city...he only does custom paint jobs for cars....but he's apparently has a 6 month waiting list...can't remember which shop though. |

It has to be said; if a $50K+ car is the cheapest thing they've got in the shop at any given time- you're in good hands.
![]() It's also a great place to see what the other 1% drive... ![]() Quote:

+1 for Burrard Autostrasse. John and Derrick took great care of me when they fixed my Mercedes. Certainly a better job than the Mercedes Autobody shop in Richmond.
A typical drive by their shop and you will see Porches, Austin Martins, BMW, Mercs and Ferraris.
