lci lights
hey all i have a 2007 e90 with halogen headlamps, iv been trying read about the various upgrades ppl can do so im looking to just clarify some things.
1) lci halogen units will plug straight in no issues. 2) lci halogen units are angel eyes and just need better/HID bulbs? 3)lci halogen units still need rewiring and coding for bi-xenon conversion? 4)do you need xenon lights with the brighter angel eyes? currently i just have the philips extreme h7 bulbs which improved but still under-powered compared to the bi-xenons i had on previous car. cheers Last edited by russ335d; 09-08-2012 at 03:40 PM.. 1. LCI Halogens are plug-n-play.
2. The OEM angel eye bulbs are crap, buy LUX for those and you'll be happy 3. no rewiring, it directly clicks into the same fittings as regular halogen headlights. 4. The upgraded angel eyes will not be "xenon" just 10W LEDs. No additional wiring or anything... LUX's are directly plug-n-play also. I have LCI Halogens on my pre-lci E90. All this spoken from experience. |

RHD and LHD headlights doesn't matter... the only difference is one is headlight is angled down so it doesn't blind traffic ahead of you... the headlights can be adjusted very easily by turning a dial on them. They're still plug-n-play.
