You need to dry things out and find/fix the leak

You need to dry things out and find/fix the leak.
The amp may need repair if drying it out doesn't work.
To dry it out it probably needs to be removed and disassembled
to the point where both circuit boards can dry .
Fuses are located behind the glovebox.

Since the bluetooth sound operates through the amp that won't work
either .

i just tried driving my car and the sound started to work a bit, (very very very quiet) and then all of a sudden the speakers started to rumble and crack, it was very very loud, they sounded like they wanted to self destruct, any ideas?

why do you think its water damage? it did rain today...but i checked and NOTHING is wet in the trunk, il have to tear out the amp and see whats going on, is it ok to unplug the amp and just let it unplugged for a week or so of driving? will i mess up the BUS loop and lose my lights/speedomater etc??

Thanks for your help,

Sorry I didn't read closely

When you said no water damage.
There have been quite a few on here that have had water damage.
Wet amps. The bluetooth module is separate in years 06 to 2010 .
That is another module under the trunk floor kind of in the middle right behind the seats. You might check that to.

Also you might check your battery voltage to get that out of the way.

I had a leak that bled into the trunk of my last car, '09 e92, and it fried the control module in the trunk.
Lost all audio, bt, radio, nav, sos...everything.
