Well I bought mine from 1SH, I think they are brighter than the original bulbs and are white not yellow - for me £70 well spent and 5 mins to fit !

This is a night shot from 50 to 70 meters away!

I won't be surprised to get pulled by the rozzers, they're that bright!

Hello people,
just wondering what happens with the Daytime Running Lights (DRL)? On my pre LCI, even when the light is in the OFF position, the DRL is still (full brightness) and when you turn to sidelights manually, it goes dim slightly, and turn once more it turns the xenon on.

Just wondering if that'd be the case with the retrofitted HID DRL? or will they always run at full blast? Cause it's kind of too bright at night?

They are always at full power because the Alpine system has its own dedicated power feed

the 10 watt ones are quite good ( I have a pair that are redundant as i've upgraded mine to Alpine) , but the alpine system I have to say blows pretty much anything out there away. The Drawback of course is for the purists out there installing a rather unsightly loom with ballasts and relays and having to feed wires in and out of housings that would no longer be sealed is a bit of a compromise , the end result does look good and ends years of driving around wishing that yours was as bright as the flashy new model!

10,000k is much too blue of a color. the new e92 LCI angel eyes are around a 7000k color which is a very cool white color.

Our LUX h8 V3 angel eyes are rated at a 6500k color which is very close and since they are the brightest LED Angel eyes on the market they will be the closest product available.
