Rocco said he could roll my fenders without distorting the fender lines (like everybody else does), so I'm just wondering if anybody for theirs fenders done at RMP?

I don't want any visible distortion in my fender from outside and so far Rocco's the only person who said he can accomplish this on the e92.

If anyone can do it Rocco @ RMP is the man... I've seen some of his work with fender rolling, and he's the only guy I trust personally... He's a perfectionist like me... I'll be seeing him soon for this service... Let you know how it goes.

gotta watch out for the paint cracking however otherwise it will be an expensive repaint of the fenders

I've seen speedstars rolls and there's too much bodyline distortion/pulling for my taste. I was hoping Rocco could pull it off without that issue.

A couple of you PM'ed saying you're going "soon"... did anyone end up getting it done?

Me and nash had ours done at bimmersport n there's no distortion johnny does a great job for a great price

I talked to Rocco and he suggests to go with a thinner tire first, which is what others have suggested too, so ill do that since my rears are almost toast anyways and see how it goes.

I went with Wanlong when he got his done there and the "pull" in the fender was too noticeable for my tastes.

I can't really go thinner, I need all the traction I can get.

I watched them do a roll on another members car and wasn't impressed with the work or the final result. Way too fast and way too much fender distortion.

Bodyshops want $1000 to cut the lip off and spray the little edge LOL, it's quite hilarious.

I had zero distortion or pull when speedstar did mine, all you have to do is tell them what you want and how aggressive you want to go.
The bigger issue is the paint cracking and I dont think any shop will guarantee that they wont crack it.

With the mods you guys have, I don't know why you would want to go thinner. My E46 M3 has a problem with traction with 275 extreme contacts and an LSD.

Fender rolling is subject to the needs of the rim and tire. Going thinner sacrifices performance which in my opinion should be left as the LAST consideration.
