i am able to pair both my Nokia N97 and iPhone 4s with the car bluetooth system(one at a time) but can only read and display text messages from the nokia and not from the iphone.
My bluetooth software is up to date and iPhone 4s running iOS 6. Any idea please. Thanks. |

On your iPhone go to Settings->Bluetooth and click the arrow next to your VIN on the list of paired devices. Turn on notifications and give it a try.
If if does not work remove pairing from your car and the iPhone and pair them again. |

text messages
in the notifications i get only the option to Sync Contacts, Phone favourites,recents and All contacts.
I have removed and repaired the iphone but in vain  |
