Take over Lease 2007 $550i *BEST deal*
So I'm thinking about selling off my lease, I got it at the BMW employee lease deal and the payments are pretty much cut in half compared to if you were to buy it at normal rate, especially at the rates the new e60s are at. I put down $4k cash and I'm asking $4k cash from whoever wants to take over, and return you ONLY pay $550 INCLUDING TAX: Jet black Black dakota Steptronic Anthracite maple wood Sport package Heated front seats Fold down rear seats Rear sunshades 35% tint on all 7 windows Tinted tail lights Tinted front turn signals Hoens front fog lights Custom straight pipe (can be put back to stock if you wish) K&N drop in There are also 2 ///M5 pieces (Trunk finisher & trunk spoiler) on the car, still debating if I want to leave them on or take them off. Car is in absolute mint condition with zero scratches, dents, dings, no accidents. Non smoker, no pets and no drinking and eating in the car. Washed and waxed every freakin week, always garage parked. Not a single curb mark on any of the rims. Car currently has about 9,600 miles. The lease runs from Dec 06 thru Dec 08, it's a simple 24 month deal with 12k/year limit. I've never had a single problem with the car other than just an oil fill up. This truely is a great deal, normally this car with these options would run over $1k a month, with my employee lease I received an additional $3,500 below dealership invoice with an insane MF of .00150 and no acquisition fee - it's just a deal that cannot be beat. Even right now BMW has restricted employees from leasing the new 5 series with the employee lease because they're so hot. Car is located in the SF bay area. I will most likely put back on the stock muffler, that's all it basically is, it's just a deleted muffler. Dealership will say something that's why I have the stock piece sitting in the garage to put back on when the car is returned. Lease term is up in December of 2008 so you have about a year and a half left, it's a pretty short lease. Mileage is 24,000 for the 2 years, or 12,000 per year. One note about the lease transfer, there is a transfer fee of $450, which is generally paid for by the buyer. Paperwork includes credit application, proof of insurance, valid California driver license. I talked to BMW Financial Services and we just go thru them via fax/email, pretty simple. I got the same deal but on my 328i. I thought since it was an employee deal that it could not be transferred to anybody else? I was thinking of doing the same with my 328 and leaseing a 335i but they told me over at the dealership that it was not possible due to it being an employee purchase. Sick deal thou this car would be close to 700 a month otherwise!

Actually that's not true, I have a buddy that works here and has gotten approval by BMWFS to transer his employee lease transfered to a new owner. It should be okay to do so. Email me at torquey5@gmail.com for those that are still interested in assuming this lease. Monthly payments are $550 including tax, $4k cash down. Dan torquey5@gmail.com |

Unless it slipped through the cracks, you can't do it. Read the CEL bulletin, it even specifically states you can't transfer the lease. Last edited by phantom330; 08-15-2007 at 02:39 PM.. |

I just read thru the bulletin and it must have been updated or something, I just got confirmation that employee lease is in fact transferable to any new owner. On top of that I just called my buddy who I mentioned earlier JUST 100% completed his employee lease transfer a few days ago. The only thing is that there is a $400 or $500 transfer/doc fee, I can't remember what the amount was.

From the bulletin dated back in Dec 2006 when it was came out:
"After inception, Center Employee Leases cannot be assigned to another individual." BMW change their words all the time, remember back in Dec when the ///Ms weren't available? And now the Z4 ///Ms are available under the program. And now the regular 5series are not, but they will be available in the 3rd quarter. |

Call FS and see if your account can be assumed, 100% guarantee they say no. Trust me on this one. You can't have them assumed, and if one falls through the cracks and BMWNA finds out your CEL privileges will be revoked. Trust me on this. |

Dude! That's just what I've been trying to say, BMWFS OKAY'D the transfer and my buddy who WORKS here just completely transfered his CEL to a non BMW employee person. I asked him about the amount and he said it was $400. He also called up BMWFS and made sure before transfering otherwise he wouldn't have done it. |

Just call on your own account and see what they say. Trust me. Call today. They have made changes to filter out these accounts. You are not supposed to be able to assume them. Just trying to save you time here, it's not like I care. |
