Here is a log with a VERY low E85 mix and only a 60 additive...hitting 20 psi no problems with 40% amd 70 additive...just got the 3.5 bar map sensor so will crank them up and see!

Also, something to consider is customer service. I own a Procede, but can tell you this: Terry@BMS has the best customer service, bar none. Highly recommend him. Its a clear choice if you do your homework, and look at many sources (excluding Bimmerpost). Terry has helped me solve issues with my Procede that Shiv was too busy for.

The flash lowered my fuel trims from what they are above (Very low) to almost always maxed out, constant misfires are gone, low pressure codes are gone....fuel pressure diving at high boost psi is gone. No need for SLD or Down pipe fix with flash...fuel trim ceiling raised...buttery smooth. No brainer GET it!

I can not comment on BMS flash, due to not having the cobb. I did upgrade from G4 board to G5 ISO and the difference is very noticeable. My car is my DD and the smoothness of DD is just like stock (once the car is warmed up). Under load the boost is more consistent and pulls hard all the way through the power band. If you car considering JB4 G5, go for it!!

I've been playing with various N54s since 07 and I'm here to tell you that the G5 ISO is the best it's ever been by a substantial amount. The car 100% feels like it came from the factory with the increased power when running map 1 (13 psi). The power comes in a smoothly as stock, the power through the rpm range is smooth as silk, etc. I'm actually averaging about 1.5 mpg better on the interstate as well since the ISO firmware allows the engine to utilize a bit more of it's own torque before blending in some boost. Example would be when the car was stock, or even non-ISO, it would be sitting at 1-2 psi once my instant consumption on the MFD read around 21 mpg. Now I don't see any boost blended in until the MFD reads abou 18 mpg instant. While that doesn't sound like a big deal, it lessens the amount of precharging that occurs which does have a noticeable improvement in fuel economy.
I've been playing with turbocharged platforms for well over a decade now and Terry has the best customer service of any vendor I have ever used, bar none.

Nope, once its married to a car, it has to be unmarried to be used in a different car. All that you can do with the device if its married to another car is datalog and read/clear codes.

Previous to owning my 09 335XI, i used Cobb/ATR on my 09 WRX and 11 STI with great results, it is a great product and ATR is very user friendly and offers wide tuning capability. With that said, after much research i got the JB4 G4 and was impressed and recently upgraded to the G5 ISO and am more impressed. BMS's customer support is the best i've seen and can't say enough about it. The ISO board is strong and smooth, no complaints. I just miss the ability to self tune the way i could with Cobb. I probably will add Cobb again in the future to this car, the only reason i haven't is i have been reluctant to mark the DME.
