BMW navigation map update for 07 335 worth it?
I don't really use my 07 335i's navigation often because it seems so outdated but would these map updates help at all?
I saw it offered for $199, here is the link. http://store.bmwgpsmaps.com/prod_01....EF344DC13C0FC9 Has anyone bought this and do they recommend it? |

Why do you need FSC codes for 2007 Navigation discs? I thought 2007 only has the disc option?
to OP, just download the latest DVDs from torrent and burn it yourself. |

Just ordered my 2013 maps from an email I received today. The older your car, the more you would need updated maps IMO. Time is money, and newer routes are created all the time around our good ol' U S of A, on average 15% per year. Time is money, and newer ways of getting to the places you need to go are worth their weight in gold.

Got an email today from BMW - $240 for an update for my 2011. Not likely. I know BMW's are expensive but really that is rediculous

Had the 2007 version, went the torrent/burn route for 2012 a few months back. Absolutely critical for me to have a newer one as most parts of Scottsdale (north end) were not on the old one.

The 2013 Nav update is available for those with newer IDrive without having to go to the dealership. Tischer will send it on a thumb drive and email you an activation code. Damn expensive though for something that is usually free on other devices. Still, I prefer using the Nav on the car over fiddling with the phone while driving.

Any CCC people should really be grabbing it here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=774035 I'm downloading right now and going super fast. Updated last year from 2010 to 2012 and it was helpful. Totally worth it. This year I'm living in an area with new roads so I'm hoping they made it into the 2013 maps. |
