So how do you activate the heating function? Is there a button on the side or somethin? And will it work with manual versions? Sorry, I haven't had a heated wheel or done a wheel swap on a e90/92 before

hi, yes theres a heating button on the side of steering column. i think itll work on a manual but obviously the back of it has the space for the paddles.

Gotcha, so when you say "no buttons" do you mean that the button to activate the heating is also not included? and cool cool, I'll do some research and see if it'll work. If so, i'll let you know.

Actually I mean the 4 buttons on each side of the wheel trim for the stereo, phone etc. you can see them in photo one which was when the wheel was installed.

I still have it but lots if interest so not sure how much longer.

Heated button is on the right side of the steering column. Assuming you have the option. When you press it it turns orange and wheel gets toasty ;-)
