e90 seats into an E91?

Is there absolutely any way to get E90 rear seats to fit an E91 as ive been after grey leather seats to fit my tourer for ages and a set for a saloon just came up on ebay

Im proper gutted as i know the ones in the back of my E91 split and have sperate bolsters, but grey leather is rarer than hens teeth and to find a set for an E90 is a close call.

Just a thought - could the leather from the E90 be used to cover the rears?

Or if not - why not fit the fronts and then get your rears retrimmed to match?

Nope, the seat backs are different for E90 and E91

Retrimming the seat backs to match might be an option. Is the rear seat base the same?

The bases are different as saloon is one piece and tourer is 2 seperate bases

Are you sure you don't mean the seat back? My Tourer rear seat base is 1 piece.

Hi. the base seat is the same. I have been looking into this but the opposite way round. With some slight modification, i have made seats from a touring fit my saloon. But i dont think it will work the other way round, as the latches on the seats on the touring are on the sides, whereas it is on the top on the saloon. If you need more info, dont hessitate to ask.

Thats fine, thanks guys.
What i will do is contact a retrimming firm and see if they can use the material on the saloon rear seat back to cover the touring seat back, or if they can find the correct shade to match it up. That way i can buy the saloon interior as its much cheaper than a full retrim.
