Anybody have the diagram to changing the serpentine belt??
The old belt is a little worn and squeaks a bit and I bought a new belt at advanced for 20 bucks but there is NO diagram online showing how to change the belt. Help, it's a 2006 325i, thanks.

thanks, I may do a diy for this seeing as there isn't one. Doesn't look very hard since you don't have to get underneath the car to reach anything.

I got this done a little while back by an indie and I watched him do it. No pics taken but i'll put this in laymen terms. On the diagram above you can see where the tensioner pulley is. Well on the side of it is a place where you can put a T60 torx in it and using a socket wrench you pull clockwise to relieve pressure from the belt. before he took it off the mechanic drew a diagram of the belt and then he just slipped the new one back on the way that the old one went. It only took 5 min and he charged me 10 bux. So it was a quick and cheap fix ($35 to be exact!)

Just swapped the belt on my 06' 330i. Simply rotate the tensioner clockwise using a ratchet and t60, then slip the belt off of the ac compressor with your left hand. Route the new belt around all of the accessories except for the ac, again to tate the tensioner, and finally slip the belt around the compressor. Double check that the belt is seated on all pullies, and start the engine to ensure you installed correctly. $21 for dayco belt and 5min of work
