to those DIYing your brake flushes, my understanding is that BMW recommends a "low viscosity" brake fluid and ATE Super Blue isn't one of them. This actually makes sense to me as as the ABS, TC, DSC etc. systems get more sophisticated, the response time of the fluid movement between the HCU and the wheel cylinders becomes important, so they must have spec'd it for a reason. Just throwing that out there.
Now the cynic in me says "is the BMW dealership really using the low-viscosity fluid" well I hope so ![]() |

haha, i started this post back in May of 2012 lol....but yes I bought mine for around $30 from Bosch I believe and did it myself too!
