Unsure whether anyone else has had this issue, but any advice would be appreciated.

I've got a 318D MSport Automatic (December 2010). In the last 6 months I've had a power issue on 2 occassions, I know not much, but it's worrying.

Both times have been when crossing a busy road junction, when my the power seems to have gone, almost as though no fuel in, stuttering, and not responding to acceleration. I've had to stop the car, turn it off, then back on, whereby it's continued as though nothing happened.

Any ideas?

Best to scan for fault codes. Any errors would have been logged on those dates.

Is that something that I can do? Or is it a trip to the garage?

Unless you have a OBD connector and software...then you need to see your local dealer/mechanic.

Like mentioned above if you do not have the software take it a decent indy and they will be able to tell you whats logged on the ECU
