Ahh ok.

I don't find the need for one on the E92 325i, but the Z4 could certainly have either done with either a modded one, or it removed completely.

+ easier to move sell on as m-sport's are the most saught after on the second hand market.

All in all, a worthy updgrade, imo.

And it can't be denied that this looks significantly better than an SE
My SE has the upgraded interior trim, sports suspension, full sports leather seats and 19" 230's which look a lot better than the 225's in my opinion. So all I'm missing is:

The body kit - not an issue given I prefer the aftermarket solution.
Colour range - I got the colour I wanted so that wasn't a problem.
High gloss shadow line - didn't like it on my last car as it showed scratches easily and I prefer the SE trim.
Short throw gear and steering wheel - cheaply upgraded to M3 versions via eBay.

Soooo, no, I beg to differ. An SE can look better or at least as good as an M-Sport and not cost more.
Personally, I find the M-Sport underwhelming on the E92 as the SE with 230's looks very good indeed. My E46 had the M-Sport kit because it did look a lot sportier than the SE version but the SE E92 is not worse off.

I'm very pleased for you. You've obviously specced and bought a car that you are happy with. Personally, I find the owm e92 m-sport kit perfect (except for the need to paint the rear valance matt black).

One thing I will add is that the extra spent on an oem m-sport will retain more than recreating a similar look using oem options or after market products.

Either way, it is a great car m-sport or SE.

i agree with you, the M-sport does look good but somewhat common

the SE with 230s's looks sooo much ''classier'' and more prestige in my opinion and more ''expensive'' looking if you know what i mean...

I love the look of the M sport, but not sure I would really want the Sports suspension that goes with it.

When I bought mine only the SE was available, but would now possibly go for the M Sport. Does the M not only come with 2 wheel options though (and are they not shared with the saloon model??)

Either way, its like a diesel vs petrol debate - nobody right, nobody wrong and each to their own.
