had the car just over a week, decided to turn off the T/C today (well i assume thats what the DCT button does), never had a RWD car before and all i can say is - well its in the title, loadsa arse out stuff (the car not me) plenty fun and severly reduced life of the run flats, so no bad thing there then.
cant wait for the rain, then a trip to the body shop ![]() |

yes its used, 2005 E90 330i, always safe, like to drive quick but always safely(well as safe as you can be)
and also of course it was on a private road, i hired a runway at heathrow for a few hours to play on, caused holiday chaos but the ultimate driving machine had to be tested |

you wouldnt have de-activated it unless you held done for a good 5 seconds and it told you its ''fully diactivated''

beau - did you just change the springs or the shocks too?
carlos just pushed it and dct came up on the dash - is this a sort of half measure turn off, it definately did something, ill try it tomorrow with it pushed in for 5 secs |

Just a brief push switches on dynamic traction control - a half measure. As Carlos says you need to hold it in for about 5 secs

couldnt wait until the morning, held button down for 5 secs, instead of dash saying DTC its got a hazard warning/rotational arrow thingy - so now def fully off methinks - first junction boot it away - uh huh, clouds of tyre smoke and 60 ft lines - yep def off now

If you get H&R race springs the car will drop to the same ride height as mine - check out the pictures in the link above. I can barely get my finger in between the top of the tyre and wheel arch
