Black kidney grills on silver car?

Big fan of the black kidney grills, but can't make up my mind on whether they look good on silver cars. Looked at some pics and they look ok on some pics and crap on others. I think they really suit the black, blue and red. What's your thoughts chaps?

Fitted a OEM pairs yesterday on my mate's silver E90. Could not take photos.
I was 50-50 like you and not sure if they look better.
If you are planning to add front splitters then it should work.

Would be great if you could get a picture for me, thinking the same with the splitters, wouldlook great if I was to fit both. Are the OEM gloss or matte finish?

Anyone know how much the stealers charge for these, or is it more cost effective to go elsewhere?

Just bought these £65 from the dealer, although I haggled with them. Had to show prices online and showed the vines bmw ebay shop (they offered me £70 as a bin)Book price was £78. The gloss black ones are much better, and it matches my shadow line trim on my tiag. I'm in the process of getting a splitter to pull the front look off, just can't decide on which one to get.

think I will give the gloss ones a try, as already said would be a good match to the msport shadowline trim

Took me 10 minutes. Remove the 4 bolts holding the bumper in under the bonnet. Hand down gap, push tabs through and off they pop. there is a guide in the guides section.

Be prepared for a few marked fingers however.

I'm in the same position. The pictures on this thread give you a good idea of what to expect on an E92.

I have the same grills but I've not yet fitted them to my E92. I also have the black lower mesh. If I do pull the trigger, I will also do the chrome window trim too. However, I quite like the look of the car at the moment..

Did mine yesterday. Black car so swapped the chrome for black. Hands properly chewed up and left hand middle finger has a chunk taken out at the knuckle!
