Great looking car! Can you confirm this is the iDrive with updated interface, and also how the nav is stored? BMW updated the business iDrive recently stating the navigation is now stored internally rather than DVD. Can you confirm if this is the case, how quick the system is to operate? Thanks! Any pics of iDrive welcome!!

Hi gobobbie, My car has business navigation which was standard with the 325i at the time I ordered it. It includes 6.5" monitor, rather than 8.8" that is included with the professional navigation. The appearance of the iDrive menu is the old style because only the professional version got the updated graphics. All LCI cars have the updated iDrive buttons on the center console.

I have no issue with the speed of operation, although there is sometimes a second or so delay when accessing the maps for the navigation. The Navigation system is DVD based so I have to leave the DVD in the slot while operating the navigation. USB interface is standard on 2009 325i, so I use this to access MP3 files. There is no HDD in my car. I have read somewhere on the Aust forum that cars produced fom September 2009 may include some type of hard drive, so the navigation info is hard coded into the car in that case. Hope this helps!

Here another thread showing a comparsion of the two versions:

Really nice car!

The interior color is clean and good looking, especially with the dark roof-lining.

Thanks for the comments. I'm still enjoying the car, but sold the rims.
