So I moved to Portola Springs recently and somehow missed that the HOA rules explicitly state no car washing. I've paid attention the last few weeks and literally nobody washes their car and the HOA minutes seem to always talk about people violating this rule.....great considering I have a pressure washer and a bunch of soap

Are there any self service places in Irvine that allow you to bucket wash at the same time? They all seem to have big signs that say "No Bucket Washing"

I use to live there what i actually found out is what is explicitly said is that the water from washing your car cannot run into the street. So i got a long thin piece of wood and placed it at the end of the driveway so the water would run into the grass not the street. After doing that i never once received a letter from them. Fyi the HOA will send you a warning not a fine if you violate anything.
