Hey guys,
It was great to meet some forum members.
But 1 thing i hate about meets, is that i always leave with a 'shopping list' of new parts that i 'need' to buy.
Thanks again for organising and look forward to the next one though.

To the e92 lads with tints, are you happy with the rear window tint (where the little dots are)?

I've been looking for someone to tint my windows for years but have heard bad things re: bubbles - any recommendations in Melb?

The trick is to vinyl the top dot matrix area!

I DIY'd this after it got tinted and it worked a treat.

My advice would be not to tint over the top strip of dots, which would avoid the bubbling effect years later.

Interesting _Ink (re: vinyl) - I've seen some e92 parked with a tint over the dots - only problem is I wasn't going to wait for the owners to come back to ask them who did their tint (and wasn't going to leave a note on their windscreen - I would personally find that annoying)!

BMJ- No, I wasn't at the meet - perhaps I'll attend the next one when these wave of IPOs are over!

Still looking for tint recommendations in Melbourne from any e92s who have actually had a tint installed and were happy with the results.

Cheers

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4

FYI I have the 225m rims, I actually prefer this style over the more aggressive 313s.

Yeah that was myself and my dad. Not happy with the rear window tint as there are tiny little bubbles around the dots. You can hardly notice them and would only realise if you were looking for them but its still frustrating
